WOOL SHrED made appearances at the Chelsea Flower Show 2025 and on the accompanying BBC TV coverage.

Jason Williams, aka The Cloud Gardener, took a tour around the silver medal Fettercairn Wilderness Retreat Balcony Garden by SSH Scapes. WOOL SHrED was used throughout the planting on and in this balcony. The garden was a huge hit for its stylish less is more design .

I was so pleased to see WOOL SHrED visible as a mulch in the pots and containers. The garden has now been relocated to the Ferrercairn Whiskey distillery in the Cairngorms, and I will be visiting there later in the year to see how it’s settled in.

WOOL SHrED was also used by Camilla Bassett Smith, aka The Botannical Bobble Hat, as a hanging basket liner. Nicky Chapman asked lots of questions about how WOOL SHrED works. Camilla, who has used WOOL SHrED before on Alan Titchmarsh’s ‘Love Your Weekend’, knew all the answers.

The WOOL SHrED website went slightly mad immediately afterwards, to the point I ran out of postal boxes and brown craft tape. Never fear, stocks have been replenished and the orders continue to be dispatched from WOOL SHrED H/Q.
