Three Days at The Gardeners’ World Spring Fair

The Gardeners’ World Spring Fair held at Beaulieu Motor Museum in the New Forest was a great experience.

Three days of chatting to new, online, and returning WOOL SHrED customers. I was informed by gardeners that the garden experts giving chats over the weekend were advocating the use of wool in gardening, so I’m pleased to hear that the use of sheep wool in gardening is spreading across the UK.

It was great to have business friends at the same event to compare notes with. It was also lovely to meet new business owners, too, who, like me, were also new to a Gardeners’ World event. Laughs were had!

I was lucky to see and meet some TV garden presenters and spend quality time with the WOOL SHrED team of volunteers, Lee, Marcel, Garry and Dora who came to help over the weekend. I couldn’t have done it without them.

Pauline & Colin from Dorset had me treat their home as a hotel. They ensured I was fed, watered, and fresh as a daisy for the full 3 days. They are now the proud owners of a beautiful, bright azalea plant purchased from Sarah and Dan of Millais Nursery.

Beaulieu is a beautiful location in the New Forest and certainly evoked some happy childhood memories whilst driving slowly through the area every day, whilst avoiding donkeys, cattle and horses! If you haven’t visited that part of the world I highly recommend it.
