September 2025 sees the launch of WOOL SHrED Garden Twine.
Following a discussion with a plant nursery seeking biodegradable, soft twine that will gradually drop off plants, and a consultation with garden designer Sally Giles from SSH Scapes, I have decided to officially add twine to the WOOL SHrED agenda for 2025.
Fast forward, and after finding a UK wool mill that was up for the challenge, the twine happened. One of the manufacturing team members, who happens to be a gardener, commented that the twine was strong and they would happily use it on their climbing roses.
WOOL SHrED garden twine is manufactured in the UK from clean Hebridean wool and is eco-friendly, naturally brown, strong, sustainable and biodegradable.
I’ve been using it to tie up my dahlias, use for wicking experiments, securing seedlings and for hanging up garden hand tools. I’m happy to personally recommend it to you!
