Wool, Wine and Countryfile
Did you see the Countryfile feature on Sunday 30th April about sheep fleece use in a vineyard in Wales?
Farmer Gareth Wyn Jones collaborated with Gwinllan Conwy Vineyard with positive results.
They confirmed that sheep wool is excellent as a weed deterrent, slug/snail repellent, soil conditioner, mulch, and water retention aid.
It’s clearly great for veggie plots and grape vines!
Following the Countryfile episode, The WOOL SHrED website was busy taking orders for the kilo bags of WOOL SHrED gardening wool!
