With COP26 kicking off this week, we’re putting the spotlight on local businesses who are going the extra mile when it comes to environmentalism 

Ever thought about using wool in your garden? Fliss Lewis, owner of WOOL SHRED encourages her customers to do just that. Fliss has a small flock of South Downs sheep in north Horsham and sells wool as a natural, versatile, sustainable, wildlife-friendly solution to gardening problems. 

“I’m trying to encourage people to use wool in their garden, for uses such as hanging baskets, mulching, water retention issues, and to think a little bit differently. It’s also great for products in the home, duvets, insulation, cushion fillings. Wool is sustainable, we shear every year. Where there’s a wool there’s a way!”
